Ever have lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, OOB or other dream experiences?

Ever have lucid dreams, sleep paralysis, OOB or other self>dream experiences?

This is a topic that has always been of interest to me,as I have had all of the experiences mentioned above many times and have become facinated by the suject.

I am actually able to now make noises in a sleep paralysis state to let my wife know to wake me up. Its very strange.

Please share your experiences here.

I also have an old blog regarding anything dream related at

thelucidmind.blogspot.com

I would like to try to get this going again to continue the discussions beyond this post, mainly focusing on experiences with lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, out-of-body experiences, dream premonitions, and any other dream related phenomenon or inspirations from such experiences. And don’t be shy if drug use was involved, I find it is in many cases including some of my own – on the blog I keep a very embracing and judgement free environment to promote intelligent discussion.

I am also willing to offer advice or further information on the subject, again best achieved through the blog. I hope this doesnt sound too "sales pitchy" – simply trying to develop a network for this type of discussion.
Thanks for great input everyone. If you are interested in sharing/discussing more, please visit

Oh wow i’ve had a few!!

A couple years ago i was laying in my bed sleeping heard like a strong ringing in my ears coming from my own mind (hard to explain) i awoke to feel like something or someone was sitting on my chest and i could barely lift my head up like my head was filled with 5 pounds of sand, i tried to speak and you know that feeling you get when walking in water how it’s like slow motion? well that was how it felt trying to speak just one word lasted for not even a minute but felt like eternity.
Another one i had recently i’d say 6 months ago and i awoke to that paralyzing feeling again and tried turning my head to yell for my husband and couldn’t , ended quickly though.
The lucid DREAMING is what i love and fear the most.
Last year my first lucid experience was i layed down to take a nap slowly drifting to sleep but still some what alert and experience that like like my arms were lifting up in the air in a floating nature but i was still alert to know that my arms were still laying beside be on the bed (sleeping on my stomach) then while knowing this i managed to trick my "floating arms" up gigher then i drifted to lucid land where i knew i was flying around any where but not places i new about, kinda like entering a weird carnival scene where things don’t quite make sence, continued to flying started seeing my co-workers (weird) then i saw a church flew inside through the stained glass windows and everyone was sitting around looking like they were attending a funeral but dressed casual (unusual to dress casual for a funeral) but the coffin displayed in front of them was an old fashion coffin, kinda like the ones from the 1800′s era i guess….just when they were about to open it i freaked out and forced myself out of the lucid dream…scared to see who was in the coffin.

The most recent hopefully not my last happened just 3 weeks ago. I could feel my entire body falling backwards through branches upon branches from trees kinda had a scared feeling but not really as to whether or not i was going to hit the ground real hard then bam i was in a tunnel with bright lights multi-colored then just plain white…the tunnel was kinda like a waterside all the turns really fun i was going so fast i loved it then i woke up blah back to reality.

Sorry this was long just really wanted to share it with you!
HAPPY DREAMING!

I have only had one lucid dream but have tried many times to have another. I have had sleep paralysis a couple times, and have experienced an OOB while meditating under the infulence.
My lucid dreaming experience: I found myself in a garden surrounded by a wooden fence, I was walking in the garden and found this rock. It was a totally looking ordinary rock but when I picked it up I somehow knew I could do anything. I willed plants to grow, flew, read minds and had total control over my universe, I realized it wasn’t real by using dream checks and indicators but held onto the dream and continued in it until I decided to throw the stone but I guess I needed it and I woke up shortly after I let it go.
Sleep Paralysis: My friend had just learned about it in school and told me that you are way more likely to experience it if you sleep on your back, I was interested so I decided I’d sleep on my back that night. That morning I woke up but I couldn’t move my body at all, not even open my eyes. I felt like someone was coming after me but I couldn’t move at all, this lasted for what seemed like a long time but I eventually gained control of my body realizing I just got what I wanted.
OOB- Me and some of my friends were experimenting with some substances and one of us decided to meditate so he and I started to meditate. I saw myself meditating on the couch as if I had just walked into the door of the room and I was like what are you doing? so I stopped haha. Seeing myself from and outsiders perspective was a very strange experience.

I’m going to check out your blog because I was wondering how to lucid dream more. Hope this helped
